All the thousands upon millions of poor souls mercilessly tortured, maimed and left to die slow, agonizing deaths all because of some fictitious, invisible man in the sky?!?

I mean, in the middle ages people would endure unimaginable amounts of pain all because they might have said God damn it – which was blasphemy – so they would be boiled alive or punished on the rack!

Religion has caused much, much, much more harm than good to our race throughout history – war, torture, death and destruction – all because of the invisible man in the sky!!

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod s. It works well, but isn t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that s not an issue, but if you re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod s larger screen and better browser may be important.

The “Meal Tickets” sign is for union guys working at pulp & paper plants. Until only a few years ago, union contracts had a provision in them where you were given a “meal ticket” (a company check) for x-amount if you worked overtime or were called in on your day off. Competition among local diners and restaurants meant you could often get a little more for the face value of your meal check if you ate there. Conversely, you could save them up and cash them in at a bank…

These are wonderful old pic’s but look at how hard life was then and people complain about how hard it is now ! Blah ! We have it good compared to those people ! No welfare, social security, unemployment ins, nothing. They had to make it on their own without government help of any kind. Greg
